Several injured after chairs drop from Maine ski lift

A 35-year-old armchair lift set for upgrades or backup bootless Tuesday at one of Maine's best accepted ski resorts, sending skiers coast into ungroomed snow far beneath that fell with the Northeast's contempo blast and ashen the landing.The Sugarloaf resort in Carrabassett Valley, about 120 afar arctic of Portland, said about six bodies were taken to hospitals afterwards bristles chairs fell.
