Economist is a professional in the field of economics, the social science that examines individuals and societies use scarce resources.Economist also is the one who economizes or manages domestic and other concerns with frugality. The one who spends money, time, labor with prudence in avoiding waste. Economist studies the production, distribution and consumption of goods. In the investment domain, an economist focuses on forecasting and estimating the overall direction of a nation's economy and its various aspects, including interest rates, GNP growth, inflation or deflation, and exchange rates. Meanwhile. an econometrist is an economist who uses and specializes statistical and mathematical methods in testing economic theory and relationships.
