Outdoor Feast

I love the idea of being with my husband in experiencing this outdoor feast together with some of my friends. I guess, it's the first time ever that my hubby joined us in our get together outings with my "barkadas". And I'm glad that I would be able to share it to him our funny moments and all the chuckles that my friends and I did, each time we went outdoors like this before.

I'm so glad as well that we had so much fun during this outdoor feast we had. Very tiring but very unforgettable as well. This outdoor feast that we had was held in a place somewhere in a province of our college friend as well. He invited us to celebrate with them and thus we went there and enjoyed every bit of a minute. Hope this won't be the last time, many outdoor feast events to experience.

Christmas Away From Home

My first time for me to celebrate Christmas Eve away from my home and my family. Now, I know the feeling of being away from your own home. I felt alone although I have some of my friends in here, but it’s really different when you celebrate you Christmas with your loved ones.  We just made and prepared for some food to eat during Christmas Eve, and after the Noche Buena we went to our room and went to sleep then. That’s how I celebrated my Christmas. But I have to accept the fact that I can’t be with them for I have to make some sacrifices for all of us, to work here abroad. I just thank God for all the blessings that He had bestowed and showered upon me, and hoping that one day I could be able to celebrate again Christmas with my loved ones.

Philippine Christmas Season Begins

The “Ber” months begins again, wherein it signaled to start at the first day of September up to October, November and December and perhaps with some days of January covering the celebration of the Philippine Christmas season. Christmas season here in the Philippines is said to be the longest celebration worldwide. It is also here that Filipino people starts to buy Christmas decorations and Christmas gifts as well.

The spirit of Christmas season is indeed approaching since I’ve noticed that every year when “ber” months start I can see those traditional varieties of Christmas lanterns or parol displays on the streets which really adds to the spirit of Christmas here. Christmas songs also were being played in some radio stations and it adds to the excitement of the approaching celebration. I’m very excited also in our Christmas celebration here in the Philippines because it’s the time wherein we held our yearly family reunion. We exchanged gifts and really having fun times to each other.

With the culture that we have here I think it’s really nice to be excited all the time to look forward in celebrating the event of Christmas Season. During this time, Filipino got to experience to be united to their loved ones and of course to be together as a family to celebrate Christmas season.
