My Beloved Mother

I was so sad when I saw my mother carrying the pain in her but she just still managed not to be affected with her illness. Her reason was that, she doesn’t want us to think of her health. When we tried to ask her to go to the hospital and have her check-up, she refused to do so. She explained to us that it’s only a minor illness and she still can carry it. But one evening, after eating her dinner, she suddenly feels herself to collapse and when I saw her face, I really saw the pain that she’s feeling. I went to my room and I can’t help myself but to cry. But I didn’t want her to see me in tears so I went to my room and just cried over there. I called my husband over the phone and told him that I want to bring my mother into a doctor so he came home early after his office hours.

As the doctor checked him, he told us that our mother must stay in the hospital and must be admitted to have a further observations and some lab test. So we decided her to be admitted. From time to time, the doctor checked her and examines her blood pressure, sugar level, blood count, urine and etc. The nurse attendant also had a daily checked on her status. And all the prescriptions of the doctors have been looked out. Our family is very supportive to us, especially to my mother. Our relatives, friends and her co-officemates were there supporting her and visiting her all the time and gives her the encouragement that she really needs. I always pray to God that she’ll get well and better since I am going out of the country. And I do not like that when I leave; she’s not that too well. And God really answered my prayer. And now, she’s advised to go home, and we’re really glad of the outcome of our prayers, supports and love to our mother. I do hope she can fully recover in her illness. Get well soon mama. Love you.
