This afritada is another one tomato sauce based stews that is very well-known here in the Philippines. You can even try it with chicken or pork meat. But this one in this photo was cooked and prepared by the brother-in-law of my better half. He’s quite good in cooking stuffs life this. He made his own version of this pork afritada and is really very pleasant to our taste. I never tried to cook afritada in my entire life and I’m planning to cook one soon. My father as well loves to cook afritada and many other Filipino dishes. I wanted to be like him, but at this stage I am just starting to learn things that are really new to me since I’m not good in culinary but I want to learn this for my husband. I just hope in time, I’ll be better at cooking this stuff.
