This so-called special clams are so great to see. It's shell closes with vise-like or tight firmness. It's a burrowing marine mollusk living on sand of the ocean or a mud. Other clams are hard-shell and others are soft-shell. But this one can be seen in the photo do have hard-shell or a hard-shell clam. This clams came from Lawigan, and people there love to eat this kind of clams. For them, it's so scrummy and extremely pleasing to their sense of taste.
Even my hubby is so very please with it's tastes. But for me, I cannot tell since I do not eat these clams for sure. I just love the way it looks like, but the taste?hmmm I guess I wouldn't love it, though, I wasn't able to taste it that's why I cannot judge completely it's taste. Merely, I tasted those small shells "not big as these clams" that can be bought in the wet market. And I really don't like the taste. Sorry to the clam-lovers:)..But for me, it's not pleasant to my taste.:)
