Are we at the brink of another dangerous depression?

The prints of the last time when there was the great depression cannot be wiped off easily from the pages of the world history. Fuelled by the world war, the whole world succumbed to the depression, in turn causing the poor to suffer the worst. Is our current scenario worsening at a similar or even faster rate? The economy being toyed at with by wavering and selfish political command, its outcome is disappointingly inflation and disturbances caused due to this wavering nature. People are not confident about what and how matters and policies are being handled. The factors driving various decisions are not made clear. Corruption and malice seems to be wiping out the progress and nourishment out of our society at a deadly velocity. Our current scenario is sickened by concentration of funds at the hands of a minor group, no way benefitting the mass. Though we have a healthy set of literate people amongst us, their participation in the nation’s affairs is disappointing enough. Pondering over all this, are we all heading towards another double dip recession? The current generation must awaken completely and take the reins appropriately. If not, the epidemic is sure to strike us again at an alarming rate.
