Wedding Day

This was the most awaited time of my hubby and I in our life. Even our families, friends, relatives and neighborhoods were waiting for this awaited big event that will change our entire life. Everyone was really excited and happy for the both of us. And of course, we're much happier than them because this is our time. All members of the family were present in both parties, our relatives and closest friends were also there witnessing our wedding celebration. All were having fun and very cooperative.Our wedding of course was a traditional church wedding because as both christian we believe that when we stick to firmly and settle down then it would be not just our will but of course with the will of God and with his grace and blessing. We certainly believe that not only parents and families blessings were important but mostly we need the guidance and blessing of God himself. At last we waited for this moment to be formally bounded together and to be called as legally newly wed couple or husband and wife so to speak. Everyone was excited and very busy while preparing themselves. Make-up here and there..:) photo shots here and there...:)...video cam here and there....:)..But a wonderful experience, it's like we're a superstar having a photo shots to be post in a bill board or magazines..:)

When the church's bell rang, the members of the entourage marched down the aisle one by one. And while I'm walking the down the aisle also, I could see everyone's huge smile and happy faces as if they're also rejoicing and celebrating with us. Every one was just smiling and taking pictures and videos. As the ceremony started everyone listened to the priest and the mass. The flower girls were so cute and very pleasant to see, like an angel from the sky. Even the charms of my maids and the ravishing men of my groom were very pleasant and delightful to see. Wearing their fabulous purplish-red colour or fuschia pink suits and attires. I just love to see them all. I saw also my happy parents and the parents of my hubby, my siblings, nephews and nieces as well as my relatives and my friends who witnessed the celebration. And of course the family and relatives of my husband as well who were very happy also about the nice and splendid event.I saw also the beautiful and handsome ninongs and ninangs we had while celebrating with us having a smile on their faces as well. Every now and then the photographer and the camera man will take shots on us. And sometimes I got annoyed by that photographer during that day because I'm so tired posing again and again, but there's no room for annoyance during that day because it was my day. So I just didn't mind them and continue rejoicing with other fellas.

Everyone also was very busy in congratulating us and giving comments on our wedding preparation. And my hubby and I were so happy and delighted each time we heard that our wedding celebration was very successful and beautiful. It made me feel like I'm the most beautiful bride here on earth and the most lucky girl in the universe having my husband be tied in me forever:) Surely I can say that I am very blessed by giving Him into my life. So by this day, we promised and solemnly pledge to cherish each moment, be together no matter what, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part ....laugh out loud:)...nah just reminiscing about our vows. But for certain we will not forget this forever as long as we live. And also we swear in front of God to live happily ever after, like fairy tale?:)When the ceremony ended and after exchanging vows, we had our pictorials together with the both parties families and friends. Everyone was very happy and excited each time the photographer clicks on his camera.

After the ceremony,we proceed to our reception, wherein lots of yummy and luscious foods served. But I had no time to eat a lot for that time because we're very busy with our visitors. But for sure I knew that the taste of the food was very delicious. When we arrived at the lobby of the function plaza,there were hawaiian dancers welcoming us as newly wed. My hubby and I, as well as our families and visitors were very happy and contented with the reception, because it's not just a typical reception we had for wedding celebration. Though the tradition was there, but the in-charge added more activities just to make the reception unforgettable and made the crowd enjoyed it. I myself enjoyed it too, I was very grateful and very happy to see the outcome of the preparation we had. They shower us with confetti while the master of ceremony introduced us to the crowd. Then afterwards, we toasted and drank our wine. We did also the traditional bells for the coins and candies for the children and the dance while pinning their money on our suits and gowns. Messages followed next by our parents, relatives, ninong/ninang and friends. Then they added some folk dancing to entertain us and the serving of food commenced. Very nice style of fresh fruit strips as desserts, hawaiian chicken, bacareta, lechon and seafoods chopsuey. With matching cinnamon bread and egg drop for soup. Yummy and so delicious foods. Sweet Chocolate fountain was also served and lots of kids and even adults love it so much and got crazy on it. One thing got my attention was the when my hubby and I marched towards our chairs while escorting us with their lighted swords, I really don't have any idea about the exact term for that. But it's very beautiful and very extremely pleasing scenery to see. Then the slicing of cake which really attracted me the most. It's a heavenly descending style of cake towards us, it's like from above going down to us. We had a 20 layer cakes with beautiful designs in each cakes. The game started by throwing the garter of my hubby and my bouquet. But it was more fun because the MC added some tricks and other versions of the game to be more exciting and unforgettable as well. Well he really made it, the crowd was very enthusiast and very excited about the game:)...Then the opening of the smallest and the biggest gift followed, thank you all for your effort and for the gifts which I believe was really helpful for us especially as a newly wed couple. Propelling through the air of the 2 white doves followed then the thanking message for the both of us as husband and wife. There's a lot of things to thank with to everyone especially to those who contributed much emotionally, morally, physically and financially to make our wedding possible and successful.
