The Young Lass Singing Sensation

In May 10, 1992 in Laguna, Philippines, Mr. And Mrs. Pempengco gave birth to a young Filipino singing sensation, named Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco, also known us Charice. She had a younger brother named Carl. By watching attentively to her mother she had learned how to operate the karaoke machine.

In that case, her singing talent was then discovered.  She urged her mother at the age of seven to teach her to sing and let her join amateur singing contest to help her family. She took many singing contest she joined until she make her breakthrough. At the age of 13, she joined Little Big Star and won as a third placer. One of her supportive fan uploaded online of her performances in singing and that led her to an invitation coming from Star King, Ellen Degeneres who caught her attention because of the million responses of the audiences which made the audience balled over to listen to her great voice.

           That performance of her was uploaded online again and that made her a worldwide internet sensation.. The crowd was mesmerized and giving her a standing ovation. After that, Oprah was amazed also by Charice performance and right away from that moment Charice became a popular and instant celebrity.
