I'm not quite a fun of a football sporty thing or the popularly-knows soccer in the Philippines that is. But apparently, many of my countrymen talks a lot about these team or these players that is very well-known right now in the count of sports. But still, basketball is the number one sport being played by the Filipinos; however, soccer has getting a lot of attention lately. Some says, soccer is the game that best-suits for the Filipinos as playing the game doesn't require much of height in order to stand out the sport.
Many says that the name Azkal, derived from the word askal, in Filipino term which means a "street dog". The Azkals has become the the new hope of the Philippines in terms of the football development. And the Filipino people are very proud of them and hope that they will continue to glare anew the Philippine football track and inspire and enliven new and generation of young players in the field of football development.
