An emblem which is a special object representing our nation which is the flag to be exact should be respected and be treasured. Each country's flags has its own historical memories concerning the unforgettable chronicle of each country's past events and stories. Like in my country, a lot of historical memories that should be remembered and should be teach all the time. The sufferings and sacrifices of those heroes in our past just to fight for our freedom, rights and for our flag should have given value and worth.
Some people don't care and seems to forget the real meaning and value of our flag nowadays. Though, they've seen it almost everyday in their school, work and government offices, but still they won't even bother to stare for it or even a minute of glimpse of it. If these things will happen to every Filipinos, then maybe this flag fails to bring the patriotic side in you. Since this flag is inspired by love of our country, then these things will not be happening.
Independence day is approaching, do you think, this is the right time to reminisce and give value to our history? Independence day proudly stands to symbolize our freedom. Freedom that has been fought by our heroes and patriots in history. Is it appropriate to give importance to what they've sacrifice? Maybe, it is, because without them and the patriotic loyalist, perhaps we're still not gaining our freedom and still slaves. It's time to visit again our history and be proud of our flag.
