Many have said that Dragon fruit has many uses because of its medicinal health benefits, like its ability to prevent cancer cell formation and hypertension. An example of this is a mother whose quest to find a cure for her daughter’s cerebral palsy and it brought her fortune when her friend gave her a dragon fruit. And then she noticed the betterment in her daughter’s condition. Meanwhile, the local and national government wanted to strengthen the program and help provinces to start dragon fruit farming because of its nutritional benefits. Dragon fruit was once considered a fruit for royals, but Filipinos should know more about it now. Filipinos should put interest in this and go hand-in-hand to learn about dragon fruit farming and might as well with its farming technology in developing this industry. Something new to develop for the betterment of the agriculture industry and in the long run could be a great help for the people living in the Philippines.
